The Mastery of Works Microschool
A microschool in Central Florida that provides useful extra curricular experiences and college prep for ages 8-16
CULINARY program: We work around your schedule within weekday evenings. Your child will learn to cook a family meal/meals weekly in your own home or any space with a kitchen you choose (recently we did a class at a DVC Disney villa)
The writing component for the culinary program is that we will create a keepsake recipe book and journal complete with food pictures.
INTERDISCIPLINARY ARTS course: field trip based course with transportation provided for a small group of just under 10 students ages 9-12. (This will be a summer program and enrollment will begin in March). We will use storytelling games, creative writing, painting, and various art based studies in this mixed media course.
ONLINE Writing Courses: these will be very similar to the courses that I am a professor for at Webber and SEU so that teen students will get college prep experience.
We work closely with families to ensure your child receives individualized attention based on the ways they learn best. We encourage students to work at their own pace, driven by their own interests, allowing them to excel without the pressures or limitations of the traditional classroom.
